Undergraduate admissions and studies
The Departments of Mathematics of the Victoria University of Manchester and UMIST merged in October 2004 to form one of the largest Schools of Mathematics in the UK. We have taken this unique opportunity to devise new degree programmes and enhance the existing programmes. The combined School has over 80 permanent members of academic staff. The School is known to have an international reputation for its research activities. This breadth of research in the school reflects the high quality of teaching and learning.
