Professor Peter Duck, Head of School

Professor Fritz Ursell
The School was greatly saddened to hear of the death of Professor Fritz Ursell, FRS on May 11th. Fritz held the Beyer Chair of Applied Mathematics at Victoria University of Manchester from 1961-1990 and he has left a lasting legacy on the School of Mathematics as it is today.
