The University of Manchester is one of the UK’s largest and most reputable universities. The Faculty of Science and Engineering is home to a group of more than 2000 postgraduate students, with more than 70 specialist research groups and links with key industrial partners.

The School of Mathematics has about 170 postgraduate students in principal areas of mathematics. To find out more come along to one of our open days to discuss your interests with academics and attend talks on the MSc and research degrees that we offer.

Programme of Events:

 13.30 – Registration

 14.00 - 'Introduction to MSc & PhD Study’ by the MSc Director Dr Peter Foster and the PhD Director Prof Matthias Heil to be followed by an introduction to the Postgraduate Programme Directorsin Frank Adams 1 & 2, 1st floor of the Alan Turing Building.

 15:00 - Refreshments on the Atrium Bridge. This will provide an opportunity for informal discussions about our postgraduate programmes with Academics and current students.

 16.00 - Tour of the Alan Turing Building

 16:30 – Close
