Applications of Fourier Analysis for measures

Most people will be quite familiar with the concept of a Fourier transform of a function. In my talk, I shall briefly introduce the Fourier transform of a measure. The majority of the talk will cover theory in the applications of FToM’s to dimension and curvature of objects, Diophantine approximation, and random fractals. Time permitted, I will briefly plug the work I am doing at the moment on Fourier Transforms of non-linear map invariant measures.
