Representation of integers by binary forms

Stanley Xiao (University of Oxford)

Frank Adams 1,

Let F be a binary form of degree at least three, integer coefficients, and non-zero discriminant. In this talk we give an asymptotic formula for the number of integers of absolute value less than Z which can be represented by F. This is joint work with C.L. Stewart.
