X-ray Tomosynthesis with Nonlinear Compressed Sensing

A new generation of low cost 3D X-ray tomosynthesis systems is based on multiple X-ray sources distributed on an emittor panel. When photons emitted from two or more sources have spatio-temporal overlap on the detector panel, partially convolved measurements ensue. We will discuss nonlinear compressed sensing models and algorithms to deconvolve the measurements, resulting in 3D image reconstruction.
