Soapbox Science is back to Manchester!

On Saturday 23rd July 2016, 12 female scientists and mathematicians will take to their soapboxes in Piccadily Gardens, Manchester City Centre, to demonstrate and discuss their research.

Mathematicians and scientists from The University of Manchester, including our very own Lecturer in Actuarial Science, Dr. Alex Watson, will be in attendance at the outreach event highlighting women in STEM. This free, public event will run from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday. 

There will be something to interest anyone everyone, from clouds to curing cancer, protons to parasites, neuropsychology to nanoscience.
