The Summer School, 9th-12th September, will introduce a variety of methods from functor category theory and model theory, with the computation of Krull-Gabriel dimension of domestic string algebras serving as a focus. Early-stage researchers will be encouraged to present sections of material. We can offer substantial or full financial support for those participating.
The Workshop, 14th-17th September, devoted to the broad theme of infinite-dimensional representations of finite-dimensional algebras, will feature invited talks and there will be some space for contributed talks. We expect to be able to offer substantial support to a number of participants.
The Summer School will begin on the morning of Wednesday 9th September with participant presentations and opportunities for discussion and working through examples. It will run through to overview talks on Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon and Sunday will be free (we will provide suggestions, including a walk in the hills nearby if the weather is good). The Workshop will begin on the morning of Monday 14th September and finish on the afternoon of Thursday 17th.
