Canonical Scattering Workshop - 2 & 3 November 2017
A workshop on Canonical wave Scattering problems will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of November 2017 in Manchester at the Chancellors hotel. This event is organised by Raphael Assier, with support from the School of Mathematics, the EPSRC and the Waves in Complex Continua research group.
Speakers from the UK, but also from Russia, the USA, France and Italy will be presenting their work.
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together world-leading researchers in order to review recent advances and remaining challenges in wave scattering theory. This will be an opportunity to exchange and stimulate new ideas, to enhance the communication and interaction between the industry and academia, and to initiate new collaborations internationally or within the UK.
