Behind the Scenes of Placental Research
Researchers from the School of Mathematics are working with St. Mary's Hospital on Placental Research
A team of mathematicians, physicists, physiologists and clinical consultants from The University of Manchester and St Mary’s Hospital are working together to better understand and prevent pregnancy complications, ensuring healthy outcomes for mothers and their babies. This project has been supported by the UK Medical Research Council.
The Placental Biophysics Group has created a behind the scenes video, Helping Babies to Breathe and Grow, to explain their research.
