The School of Mathematic's annual Alan Turing Cryptography Competition finished with our Cryptography Day event held on Wednesday 25th April 2018. We invited over 160 students from 22 different schools throughout the UK to visit us in the Alan Turing Building and participate in a day of puzzles and code breaking. The day concluded with an awards ceremony for the overall winners of the 2018 Cryptography and MathsBombe competitions as well as winners of the LIVE competition on the day.  Well done to all those who participated!

We have had excellent feedback from the event and all the students who took part really got involved and were incredibly enthusiastic about all the coding challenges.

We would like to thank SkyScanner who sponsored the Cryptography Competition and the Dame Kathleen Ollerenshaw Fund for sponsoring the MathsBombe Competition.
