Chapter 4

Later that afternoon, Ellie was walking around The Torus, or at least around the parts that were not closed off by security. "There are a lot of locked doors", she thought to herself. "Somebody is paranoid about security."

As she ventured down one corridor, she saw Tiedo Suri and Dr C enter an office and close the door behind them. Ellie crept forwards and carefully placed one ear on the door.

"You've heard about Dr B's accident, I assume?" said Suri.

"If indeed it was an accident", said Casey. "After what happened to Alex earlier today, I'm not so sure. Cid please send me all the logs from Dr B's car for the last 24 hours."

"Of course, Dr Casey," said the voice of Cid from the tablet.

Suri gave a piercing stare. "You need to be careful", he threatened. "You have your own health problems — excellent motivation for your research on big data in medical trials. Don't you need insulin injections four times a day? It would be dangerous to miss one..."

As they continued to talk, neither Suri nor Casey noticed the red camera lens alive on one of the office's computers.

Ellie removed her ear from the door, and ran as quickly and as quietly as she could away from the office. "I think Suri is getting rid of his senior staff. He's taken care of Alex and Bayan — Dr A and Dr B — and Dr C is next on the list!" she thought. "I need to tell Mike this and get him back inside." She looked out of the window at the expansive grounds surrounding The Torus. "I know just how to do that!" she thought. "But with all the extra security, TimeSucker are bound to be monitoring my phone. I'll have to send Mike a text in code."

Your task: Below is Mike's phone, having received the text from Ellie. Your task is to decipher this message. Once you have done that, you should enter the 31st word.
