End of Year Forms
In order for us to activate your record ready for registration please ensure that you complete the appropriate end of year form with your supervisor and submit it via Eprog.
Academic and Financial Registration
Registration can be completed online and will be available from 1 September, for non September starters you will be able to register from the 1st of the month in which you register. You will receive an email from the University containing details of registration. Online registration will now be accessed in a different way to previous years. The online registration system can be accessed through the Student Portal using your central username and password. You can complete registration from any PC with an internet connection and may carry out registration including tuition fee payment online. If you prefer to pay your tuition fees over the telephone, please contact the Registration Helpline on +44 (0) 161 306 5544. If you are not able to complete your financial registration online, you will be able do so in the Main Libarary or in the Whitworth Hall from, or the Student Services Centre for non-September starters. For this you will need to take your log-on details, banking details and payment, a sponsorship letter (if applicable) or financial notice from DIUS (EU students only). Important information for students funded through the school only
(EPSRC DTA, School Scholarship, International Bursaries)
If you are funded by the School of Mathematics, we will be making arrangements to pay your tuition fees. If you encounter any problems with this process please contact Anna Bigland in the Postgraduate Office immediately.
If you were awarded a stipend to cover the cost of your maintenance your bank details for payment will already be attached to your record and you will not need to enter them again. If any of your bank details have changed you need to inform the Student Services Centre of these changes as soon as possible to ensure that your maintenance will continue to be paid.
