MATH19872 Mathematics 0D2 consists of two parts:
- A theoretical part, taught over the course 19 lectures and 11 tutorials. It is assessed by an exam at the end of the semester (worth 80% of the course) and a coursework set midway through the semester (worth 10% of the course).
- A computational part. This material focuses on the use of the mathematical software package Mathematica, and is taught through one lecture and four computer lab sessions. It is assessed by a coursework set in the final computer lab, which is worth 10% of the course.
