Symplectic Toric Quasifolds

Elisa Prato (University of Florence)

Quasifolds generalise manifolds and orbifolds. They arise naturally when one wants to extend the standard symplectic toric geometry to simple convex polytopes that are not rational. We will introduce symplectic toric quasifolds and discuss some examples and applications.
