About
-
I am a PhD student in the Numerical analysis group at the School of Mathematics, University of Manchester. My supervisor is Professor Françoise Tisseur and my research concerns matrix polynomials.
I am interested in numerical linear algebra and matrix theory. At the moment my favourite problems are inverse polynomial eigenvalue problems.

Talks
- Triangularization of matrix polynomials
Using transformations that preserve the structure of the Companion matrix, we reduce matrix polynomials to triangular form.
SIAM Conference on Applied Linear Algebra, Valencia (Spain), June 18--22.
- Triangularization of matrix polynomials in their most general form
Over the complex numbers, we show that any matrix polynomial is strongly equivalent to a triangular one. The real case is also discussed and we state a conjecture relating real and self-adjoint matrix polynomials.
The 3rd IMA Conference on Numerical Linear Algebra and Optimisation, Birmingham (UK), September 10--12.
