There will be a Workshop on Ergodic Theory and Geometry at the University of Manchester from Tuesday 1st April to Friday 4th April 2008, supported by the LMS and the EPSRC. This follows a Northern Regional Meeting of the London Mathematical Society on Monday 31st March 2008. The speakers at the LMS meeting will be Michael Field and Ursula Hamenstädt.
