MATH32031 Coding Theory

Research

I study mainly the representation theory and cohomology of groups. At the moment I am particularly interested in profinite groups and in group actions on rings or varieties.

I am also interested in group actions on topological spaces, and like to emphasise geometric and functorial methods. I have also worked in homotopy theory and invariant theory.
