On a papermachine, some 1010 fibres are delivered
per second with standard deviation about 7% of the mean at
the fibre scale--twice that of a random structure. Figure 7
illustrates a random network representing about one square centimetre of
a thin sheet of paper, say 5 grams per square metre.
