Your products are great. How do I order?

To order any item in this catalog using a credit card, call 1-800-777-4643 or fax (201) 348-4505, Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST.

Or complete the information as requested on the order form included. If the order form is not available, please provide:

  • Product Title
  • Author/Editor Name
  • ISBN Number
  • Quantity

How soon will I get my order?

We normally ship orders UPS Ground and orders are shipped 3 to 5 business days from receipt. You can expect your publication to arrive within ten days on the East Coast and within three weeks on the West Coast. If you need your order sooner, express services are available at additional cost.

All orders are processed upon receipt of payment. Prices quoted are payable in US currency or its equivalent and are subject to change without notice.

What about backorders?

All publications that are available at the time an order is received are shipped immediately. Any book that is not yet available is automatically backordered and will be shipped separately as soon as it is available. If an order cannot be fulfilled within 90 days, payment will be refunded upon request.

What if I don't like it?

If you don't like a book for any reason, just send it back within 30 days and we'll refund your money. If you wish to return a book with a companion diskette or CD-ROM (or stand-alone software), do not open the envelope or break the seal. Springer-Verlag will not accept any returns if the electronic component package has been opened and/or separated from the book.

What about shipping to Canada and overseas?

We gladly ship to Canada and Mexico. Shipping charges are $3.00 for the first product, $1.00 each additional. Overseas orders can be shipped Air Parcel Post ($10 for the first product and $5.00 each additional). All orders must be pre-paid in US dollars.

Can I buy it at a bookstore?

Absolutely. Check with your local technical or university bookstore for our titles in stock. Otherwise, most bookstores are happy to order it for you.

Can I order it electronically from Springer-Verlag?

Is sales tax applicable?

CA, IL, MA, NJ, NY, PA, TX, and VT residents please include applicable sales tax. Canadian residents please include 7% GST. (Tax is computed automatically if you order through the TELOS Book Finder.)
