Previous academic appointments
In May 2005 I joined the Philosophy, Probability and Modelling Group at the University of Konstanz for a three months postdoctoral fellowship. I first joined the PPM group in May 2004 for a three months visiting fellowship. Both fellowships were supported by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Program for the Investment in the Future (ZIP) of the German Government.From May to June 2003: Research Assistant at the Department of Mathematics, The University of Manchester.
From January 2002 to May 2004: Graduate Fellow and then Research Associate of the Institute for the Science and Technologies of Information (ISTI) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR), Pisa.
Teaching Experience
From September 2002 to May 2005: Teaching assistant for the following courses (all given at the School of Mathematics, Manchester University).

Some facts
I was born in Pescia (Pistoia) [Toscana] {Italy} in 1977. I graduated from the University of Pisa in November 2001 (having studied 1 year in Manchester as a Socrates/Erasmus student). I started my PhD in Manchester in January 2002. I was awarded my doctoral degree in November 2005.
