IFISS

There are several exciting new features in IFISS 3.1. The toolbox has been tested using Matlab versions 7.10 and 7.11 (and is compatible with versions as far back as 6.5) and using Octave version 3.2.4. It can be run under Windows, Linux and MacOS architectures. IFISS 3.1 can be downloaded by clicking on one of the links below.

IFISS Matlab software:

• for Windows (.zip file, 484Kb) or for Linux/MacOS (.tar.gz file, 258Kb)

After you have unpacked the files, start Matlab in the directory ifiss3.1. Type helpme and follow the on-screen instructions to install IFISS. After installation, type setpath, ifiss to get started.

IFISS Octave software:

• for Windows (.zip file, 452Kb) or for Linux/MacOS (.tar.gz file, 254Kb)

After you have unpacked the files, start Octave in the directory ifiss3.1_octave. Type octave_helpme and follow the on-screen instructions to install IFISS. After installation, type setpath, ifiss to get started.
