Abstract
We discuss the practical determination of stability regions when various Runge-Kutta methods, combined with continuous extensions, are applied with a fixed stepsize h to the linear delay differential equation
          y'(t) = l y(t) + u y(t-T),
with fixed delay T. The delay T is not limited to an integer multiple of the stepsize h.
