The fourth year Maths option  Inverse Problems and Imaging is taught in the first semester in the School of Mathematics at UMIST  by Prof Bill Lionheart  As well as fourth year mathematics students a number of engineering and physical sciences research students and staff at Manchester come to the course, and others externally are following the course remotely.
