Start Lane, Whaley Bridge, High Peak, Derbyshire, SK23 7BP, SK23 7BR, SK23 7BS.

Whaley Bridge is small town in the High Peak area of Derbyshire, England. Our road is Start Lane, and in common with many rural roads in the UK the houses have names rather than numbers. Very quaint, but a little difficult for delivery van drivers to find. So if anyone has the forthought and luck to consult this web page before they set off -- or has internet access while on the move -- they can now tell where they are going. I think most of the houses on Start Lane have postcode SK23 7BP, by about Croft House it is SK23 7BR, and the farms off start lane are SK23 7PS.

Local children Katie and Sam Lionheart and Catherine Brown drew the following map and I scanned it as a pdf. Ok its crude, but it does the job, and its quite funny. It is even fairly accurate, although not to scale.
