I live in Whaley Bridge in Derbyshire's High Peak, with my wife and two children. Whaley Bridge now has an entry in Wikipedia, the free on-line encyclopedia. here is a link to Whaley Bridge Primary School,. Well noone else links to this yet so its hard to find!
My kids made a map of Start Lane in Whaley Bridge with the house names as there are no numbers.
I like to go sailing, sometimes at Combs Sailing Club. We used to have a Laurent Giles Jolly Boat, which we have been sailing on Derwentwater.
The University has a great diving club Manchester University Sub-aqua Club (MUSAC). I go diving with them from time to time.
For relaxation I go to a yoga class. My wife Sarah Lionheart is a Yoga and Meditation teacher. She teaches in Whaley Bridge and nearby places such as Disley, as well as doing in-service training courses for the British Wheel of Yoga around the country.
We (the whole family) are interested in Tibetan Buddhism. And we can often be found at Samye Ling Tibetan Centre in Scotland, and on Holy Island the retreat centre of Lama Yeshe Losal. See also High Peak Dharma Study Group and Kagyu Samye Dzong Manchester.
