School Responsibilities:

• I am a postdoctoral research associate in the Numerical Analysis Group.
  I work with Dr Catherine Powell and Professor David Silvester on the project
  "Analysis of Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations with Random Data".
• I am the organiser of the Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing Seminar.

Research interests

My research specialisation is Numerical Analysis.
My research interests concern the development and analysis of efficient numerical methods for partial differential and boundary integral equations (both deterministic and stochastic ones). The special emphasis is on

• high order methods (p- and hp-versions),
• adaptive methods

for problems involving singularities and random data.

Areas of application include linear elasticity, electromagnetism, groundwater flow modelling, and quantum mechanics.
