Level 4 course units 2011/2012
Page contents
Course units are worth 15 credits unless otherwise stated
Projects
4th year students will do a two-semester, 30-credit, project unless if registered for the joint honours Mathematics and Physics programme when they will do a one semester, 15-credit, project (or possibly a single 30-credit project in mathematical physics in place of separate 15-credit projects in mathematics and in physics).
Further conditions may be found in the documentation on the Undergraduate Projects Page. There you will find details of how to choose a topic and supervisor, how to register the project, and details on what you are expected to produce. You will also find a list of Project Topics.

Further Information
Course units are normally available to students on all programmes (subject to any restrictions in the programme and to prerequisites). Course descriptions give details of prerequisites.
Timetable
You should look at the Provisional Timetables to see if any choice of options you make will clash.
Restrictions
* These are enhanced versions of level 3 course units and both course units may not be taken.
