The 2nd year of this programme consists of 80 credits of MATH compulsory course units (listed below as a mandatory requirement). Students also take an optional MATH course unit worth 10 credits in Semester 1, and optional MATH course units worth 30 credits in Semester 2, for a 60/60 split per semester, totalling 120 credits. Appropriate options may be MATH20201, MATH20812 and MATH20912.
Students may want to consider substituting up to 20 credits of MATH options with up to 20 credits of outside course units, eg. BMAN10621(B), BMAN20242 (for exemption purposes), BMAN10552, BMAN10632 and UCIL Leadership in Action listed on the recommended outside course unit list. Students will need the permission of the Year Tutor and the appropriate form should be completed.
- BMAN10621(B) is a pre-requisite for BMAN20242. Students need to achieve at least 40% at the first attempt in BMAN10621(B) if they are to take BMAN20242. Further information is available by clicking on the course unit link.
- BMAN10621(B) and BMAN20242 are one of the Core Technical subjects (CT2) modules recommended for exemption. Details of the exemption arrangements are available under Section 2 of the Undergraduate Handbook.
- Students need to achieve at least 40% at the first attempt of BMAN20242 if they want to take those Finance course units in the Third Year for which BMAN20242 is a pre-requisite.
