Mathematics (3 Years) [BSc]

The study of mathematics encourages you to think in a certain way. Logic, analytical thought and problem solving of the type commonly used in maths is useful in a range of careers, and the way that our graduates display these skills is sought after in many professions.

This course will supply you with knowledge on a wide range of mathematical topics. Support is on hand throughout your studies in the form of tutorials, a careers service and a peer assisted study scheme (PASS).

In each year you must earn 120 credits by taking a combination of 10 and 20 credit course units. Year 1 and the first semester of year 2 will consist of core units. In year 3 all units are optional, allowing you to construct a degree to suit your personal direction.
