Opportunities for PhD research are available in a wide range of topics in Mathematical Finance. Research in this field is done by members from both the Applied group and the Probability group. More information about the academic staff involved as well as research interests and available projects, can be found on the Mathematical Finance Research page.
Students may choose to enter our graduate programme in Mathematical Finance by initially taking our taught Mathematical Finance (1 year) [MSc]. This will provide an introduction to the field and, subject to satisfactory progress, can lead to admission to the PhD programme.
