Research in Mathematical Finance

Opportunities for PhD research are available in a wide range of topics in Mathematical Finance. Research in this field is done by members from both the Applied group and the Probability group. You can find more about the research interests in Mathematical Finance of the staff members involved and available projects on this page for Applied and on this page for Probability and Statistics.

Students may choose to enter our graduate programme in Mathematical Finance by initially taking our taught Mathematical Finance (1 year) [MSc]. This will provide an introduction to the field and, subject to satisfactory progress, can lead to admission to the PhD programme.
