Course Description

Students on the Materials Science courses take a mathematics 20-credit unit spread across the two semesters. In each semester, two related units exist sharing the same lectures but with different arrangements for the example classes and assessment.

The majority of students take unit MATH19730. Some students, assigned by the School of Materials, take unit MATH19740 which includes an extra support class each week.

Arrangements

The classes for course 1G1 (MATH19730 - part 1) for 2012-13 are as follows

• Monday 12 noon (starting week 3) in Room Uni Place 1.218
• Tuesday 9 am (starting week 3) in Room Turing/G205
• Wednesday 9 am (starting week 3) in Room Turing/G207
• Wednesday 10 am (starting week 3) in Room Turing/G207
