Career talks

Alongside the primary careers activities taking place in the School of Mathematics, such as the Calculating Careers Fair, the School hosts one-off lectures and interactive sessions by many of the largest graduate recruiters in the country.

These events may be designed to highlight the graduate and intern opportunities within a specific company, to improve specific skill-sets by offering tailored training on key skills or to look at the latest developments within certain industries.

As well as the events organised directly by the School, there are numerous others that will be arranged by other departments and the careers service, as well as networking events, managed directly by the organising company, in local venues around campus. Such events will be advertised across the School as well as by the University’s Careers Service.
