How to apply
Applying for postgraduate studies is easy and can be completed quickly online. Simply fill in and submit an online application at the University of Manchester application page.
Together with your application you should also submit the following documents:
- Academic transcripts of your previous study showing the subjects you have taken and grades obtained. If these documents are in languages other than English please provide official translations together with your transcipts.
- Two letters of academic reference from your current or most recent place of study. These would usually be from a personal tutor or project supervisor and should be accompanied where possible by the referee report form which has details of what should be included in the reference letter itself.
- Copies of English Language certification such as IELTS or TOEFL where required.
- A copy of your passport (if you will need a visa to study here).
These documents can be submitted online with your application, e-mailed to Mrs Anna Bigland (anna.bigland@manchester.ac.uk) for Postgraduate Research applications or Lenox Green (lenox.green@manchester.ac.uk) for Taught MSc applications, or posted to Postgraduate Office, School of Mathematics, The University of Manchester, Oxford Road, Manchester, M13 9PL, United Kingdom.
Once your application has been submitted you can check your application status online on the SelfService page. Log in using your application ID number. Your password is your date of birth in the format DDMMYYYY.
