How would you summarise your research?
I am particularly interested in nonparametric functional estimation and inference, with applications in medicine particularly.

The scale and diversity of the School's academic interests makes for a fascinating mix of staff who can offer students a broad range of opportunities at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
What do you enjoy most about teaching?
I enjoy the interaction with the students; it is rewarding when you see an understanding, and even enthusiasm, for the subject develop in them.
