Professor Louise Walker received Distinguished Achievement Award for PASS
Professor Louise Walker was awarded the Peer Support Distinguished Achievement Award at the 20th Annual Celebration Evening.
Peer-assisted Study Sessions (PASS) is a student led scheme within The University of Manchester. The purpose of PASS is to help first year students with both their academic studies and settling into Manchester.
At the PASS’s 20th Annual Celebration Evening on Wednesday 2nd May at the Renaissance Hotel in Manchester, Professor Louise Walker was awarded the Peer Support Distinguished Achievement Award for her long standing commitment and dedication to peer support. Louise was the PASS Co-ordinator for the School of Mathematics PASS scheme for 16 years and she has contributed immensely to the development of peer support at the University.
