New Starter Mawussi Zounon

Mawussi Zounon began his role as a Research Associate in January 2016. In the past, he has worked as a Consultant and Teaching Assistant in France. We caught up with him to hear more about his new role...

Hi Mawussi, welcome to Manchester and the University! How are you finding it so far?

It's going very well so far, thank you. What really stands out to me about the city is how friendly people are here.

It's a great city. What were you doing prior to moving to Manchester?

I was in Bordeaux, France, where I did my PhD on the resilience of numerical linear algebra solutions.

Sounds very interesting. You've only started your new role within the past couple of weeks. What are you most looking forward to?

Definitely my contribution for efficient exploitation of future supercomputers.

And what do you do to wind down after work?

I enjoy fine cuisine, but also love running. I am really interested in psychology as well.

We wish Mawussi the very best of luck in his new role. If you need to contact Mawussi, you can do so here
