"It looks like it. I wonder where Lungrem is and why he can't find it himself?" said Ellie. "I think we need to hear that radio broadcast. Now who do we know who will be likely to have a short-wave radio?"
"I bet Barquith does!" said Mike. "Perhaps we should pay him another visit."
The following day, Barquith greeted Ellie and Mike at the entrance to the Museum. "It's good to be back at work after my little adventure!" he confessed.
Barquith led them upstairs to his office. "I haven't been able to find out much more I'm afraid. Lovell hid Turing's device somewhere at Jodrell Bank, and it sounds as though Lungrem's henchman has found out where," he said. "Lungrem communicates by short-wave radio transmissions - a trick I suspect he learned from the secret service. Spies out in the field would often receive instructions from their controls by listening to numbers stations, and I bet this is something similar."
"Oh", he added, "I meant to tell you that when I was being held captive, I remember that the man kept whistling a tune. It seemed an odd choice, so I made a note of it. I could only remember the first part of it though!"
"It's nearly time!" exclaimed Mike, as he looked at his watch. Barquith started to tune his radio to the correct frequency, and he, Mike and Ellie huddled round to listen to the broadcast.
